Why Aren't You Homeschooling Your Children?

A long time ago I decided that when someone asks me why I homeschool my children the best answer to their question would be, “Why don’t you homeschool yours?” Why should I have to defend my decision to homeschool my children? Why not make the other person defend their decision not to homeschool their children? I discovered a refreshingly honest response to my answer in an opinion column written by Daniel Brigham and posted on www.Denverpost.com. Mr. Brigham is an educational consultant and communications specialist in Louisville, Kentucky, and a former instructor at the University of Colorado Boulder. You can find his column here. I encourage you to read this short but interesting article.
