  1. By the way...I disagree VIGOROUSLY with the section of the infographic that discusses the comparison (or pros and cons) of both "regular" and home education options. The notion that the curriculum of the regular school is richer than that of homeschools because of the qualifications of teachers is ridiculous. Just sayin'. :-)

  2. I would agree with you, and all homeschooling parents can vouch for it as well: the curriculum choices for homeschooling are just as good and better (from the standpoint that there is a wealth of great options) than those the schools choose to use. Obviously the people who put this together have no idea what's available, and didn't bother to research it.

  3. Just to add with what has already been said, I'm thinking if you have access to a library and a computer, you can have as many resources as you can possibly use/need. I also question having separate categories for resources and curriculum. Teachers are a resource, not the curriculum itself. (I hope that makes sense) Anyway, I think homeschoolers win for curriculum since they can offer a highly individualized study plan based on each of their children's interests and needs, rather than a single curriculum for an entire class.

  4. Agree with both you ladies 1000%! I thought this was interesting info...especially in light of the fact that it definitely doesn't appear to have been compiled by "pro-homeschooling" folks.
